There are no foods that will keep you from living the Keto life. However, there are some choices that will help you achieve your goals and some choices that will make it harder to achieve them.
KEEP IT SIMPLE when starting. Making meals that are quick and easy are will make it much easier when starting. Don’t get me wrong, there are some pretty amazing recipes out there that are Keto Friendly. In my opinion, if they take more than 30 minutes to make and have more than 5 ingredients, they are typically too much work for me or my Family on most occasions.
When starting, we find it best to slowly removed sources of added sugars or refined carbohydrates (breads and pastas are examples of refined carbs) first and then add in more healthy fats, more on these later. Leafy green vegetables are NOT examples of refined carbohydrates and make up a large portion(by quantity) of a healthy ketogenic diet. Feel free to add pink Himalayan Sea Salt and healthy fats to your leafy greens.
